Artist information

Hereby the most important information for your performances at Fantasy Fest:

Parking and loading/unloading of materials/equipment:

Because of the expansion of the event, the artist entrance has changed, compared to previous editions. Equipment/materials can be loaded and unloaded at Visseringlaan. That is also where the artist entrance is located, for artist that don’t have a car. Do know that cars can’t be parked there. These can be parked on our parking area P2 (address = Volmerlaan 12).

When entering the parking area, please say your band name and that you will be performing at Fantasy Fest. The parking attendant knows that you’re coming and will give you instructions where you can park. There are parking spots specially reserved for you.

Artist Entrance:

Once you have entered the parking area and parked your car, you can walk to the entrance (see photo with the cross where the entrance can be found). An employee will be there to guide you to the backstage area. Because this is on the other side of the building, and we don’t want to take you through the hall with the visitors, we will take a small detour where you need to walk upstairs. We therefore recommend that if you have heavy items, you ensure that they are unloaded at Visseringlaan beforehand.

Time of presence
We ask our artists to be present well before the time of their performance. So that there is enough time for unloading all instruments, setting up on stage and the sound check. Set up and sound check may take a maximum of 45 minutes.
Ofcourse you are welcome all day. We are open on saturday and sunday from 12:00 – 20:30 hours.

Dressing Room
Each band has its own dressing room at its disposal.

Backstage- Drinks & meals
Backstage, outside the dressing room, is a table with coffee and tea and a fridge with soft drinks and water. The artists can make unlimited use of this. Depending on the time of performance, we provide a lunch or evening meal for our artists. The lunch and dinner will be served in the backstage area.

If you want to join us for another meal in addition to this meal or have extra wishes, this is of course no problem! Please pass this on to our backstage host or the organization. In this way we want to prevent food waste.

If there are band members with dietary requirements, please inform us no later than 2 week prior to the performance. Make this known via fantasyfest@de-broodfabriek.nl.

Hospitality and Technical Rider
We request that the bands provide us with the Technical Rider at least 3 weeks prior to the event. We will forward the technical rider to our sound partner Rena productions.
If the band has a Hospitality Rider, we would also like to receive this no later than 3 weeks prior to the event.

Smoking
Smoking is NOT allowed in the halls of De Broodfabriek. The designated smoking area is on the terrace in front of the Horeca Plaza at the entrance of De Broodfabriek or at the artist entrance.
